What is a refurbished Mac or iPod? It 'was sent to Apple for some reason. Is there someone just ordered the wrong color or needed a little 'fixing, Apple spruces them and sells them in a big, big discount. You can count on quality and safety, because Apple certifies each item as well as their new products. They also lead the entire 1 year warranty so it's like they say on their site, "Apple Certified.
